After installing an extension or theme, when I click restart, Firefox closes but doesn't restart. Yet, when I press ctrl+alt+del for Task Manager and look at processes Firefox is still there. Tips, ideas, suggestions? Anything that will help me fix this will be most appreciated.

And when you stop the process in Task Manager and restart FF, what happens?

If I stop the process...when FF loads I get the "Firefox ended unexpectedly" message with the option to restore the previous session or start a new one.

Just tell it to start a new session, then exit with File> Exit. Then restart the program and see whether the starting problem persists. Dave Pyles
